GeoDesign provided geotechnical engineering and environmental consulting services for several projects at their 900-acre timber and paper products mill situated adjacent to the Clearwater River.  These projects have included a mill-wide numerical groundwater flow and contaminant transport model for solving several environmental protection challenges.  GeoDesign currently monitors performance of a landslide stabilization system we designed.  Extensive hydrogeologic, geotechnical, and slope stability analyses were performed for the mill’s approximately 1,250-foot-long and 2,500-foot-wide landslide that has been stabilized by the groundwater dewatering system.
